The roads of New York are no strangers to car accidents. Sadly, with the high volume of traffic that passes through the state each day, it is hardly surprising that once in a while someone makes a mistake. However, the tragic reality is that even the smallest slip can have devastating consequences, leaving the victims of such a crash with serious injuries or worse.

Such was the case on the George Washington Bridge in the early hours of one Sunday morning. According to reports, a car was involved in a devastating collision with a tractor trailer. The incident is said to have occurred on the bridge’s upper level, pinning two of the car’s four passengers inside the vehicle. Tunnel and bridge agents were required to rescue them.

The victims of the crash were said to have been rushed to a hospital. Unfortunately, one was pronounced dead after arriving there. The tragic event remained under investigation as the precise cause of the accident was not immediately evident.

Incidents like this tear families apart. It is hard to know where to turn or what to do after the loss of a loved one, especially when it is so sudden and unexpected. Some simply want answers, while others hope to see those responsible brought to justice.

If you or a loved one has been involved in a car accident, you might benefit from an attorney’s support. With the right guidance, you may be able to determine whether to make a claim against those responsible. Your attorney might also be able to assist you if you decide to pursue a payout from your insurance provider.
